Dani began playing premiere volleyball at 11 years old and continued through her high school career while also playing on the varsity team her junior and senior year. During those 2 years of high school, she helped her team place in the top 4 in the state. During her time at Pittsburg State University, she played in the Women's Club Volleyball team. She was the assistant coach for VooDoos 13-2’s for the 2021-2022 season.
